Ride just about anywhere. No barbed wire fences. "No trespassing" signs are still unknown in this part of the world. If nothing of value grows in the field, you are welcomed to ride across. No time limits. Enjoy your rides within the physical capacity of well-fed and conditioned animals. Many "versts" of fields and trails not normally found in civilized countries..

Riding lessons are available. They may even be thrown in as a free extra bonus. And yes, I speak semi-decent English that you'll easily understand unless you are from Texas or Australia, or are one of these pretentious British eh, characters.  English teachers too, I find, have trouble with my speech pattern. Car ride from Moscow to Staritsa can be arranged, or  someone (probably Catherine) will escort you by public transportation. Car upkeep contribution for the 250 km ride from Moscow to Staritsa: $70-100.
